May 11th

Today was my last school day at Kinkaid. Kinkaid has taught me a lot in the past two weeks. All the students were very nice to me and were kind of sad that I was leaving but I represented St.Benedict's really well and thats what Father Ed always talks about. Also, most of the students where very eager to know about how good our athletics are. Tomorrow I am leaving my host family and I will see them in New York when they go to visit in two weeks. I gave them two gifts as a symbol for having me in there residence. They really liked the clock that my dad bought them (it was from Brasil) and a Statue of Liberty.

May 10th

Today all my classes were reviews for tomorrows test. I had a good day overall . All the students that I met here are all sad that I'm leaving. I really would stay more time here if I could , however, I can't . I learned a lot about critiquing an arquitecture project.

May 8th

       Today my classes were really relaxing. I had 2 free periods and the rest where really just reviews for finals. I am so excited for today because my host family is going to take me to a Baseball game and I will take pictures. I thought that the history class that I'm taking now is way more useful than the one offered at St.Benedict's. All of the students here are on top of their academics and usually have loads of homework each single day.

May 7th

Today I went to school like usual. I went to my classes and met some cool people. I also went to Roberts baseball game, eventually they lost. I enjoyed watching the game and the parents were real nice to me and asked me a lot of questions. Tomorrow is a big day because I'm going to a Astros game ( professional baseball) and it should be fun.

May 6th

       Today was a very exciting day for me because I went to various places. First, I went to the johnson space center and had a lot of fun there and I took a lot of pictures of various things. I learned a lot about the astronauts and how they survive in space. The highlight of my day was when I went to a space simulator and see how it really is while flying. Than my host family and I went to a neighbors get together and that was pretty fun as well.

May 4th

Today in school was a day where all the seniors skipped without getting permission. In most of my classes I just relaxed and went on my laptop. I learned a lot in history class about the World War 2. Im excited that its a Friday because I'm eager to explore more about the downtown Houston. Most of the people ask me what St.Benedict's Prep is like and I say good things as usual. Kinkaid's campus is very big and today was the first day that I got to all of my classes without asking anyone for help.
